We had a wonderful family time weekend. I think my husband and I had more fun than Isla did!
On Saturday we took Isla to a kids Christmas party that my place of work puts together. It was such a nice morning. There were crafts for the kids, sing-alongs, treats and of course SANTA came with some presents. We were so glad to spend the morning with Isla and even more excited that she got to meet Santa for the first time. She really seemed to enjoy the morning and was looking around at all the kids and smiling when they were singing. She even met a new friend who was 2 weeks younger. It was so fun to watch them interact with each other!

A lot of very excited kids!
Saturday night, we had our second annual pre Christmas dinner with my parents and Dana’s. It was so nice to get together before the holidays really started and enjoy some great food prepared by my husband and lots of laughs. Isla hasn’t been herself the last week or so. She has been going through a cold and has been quite fussy but she was able to smile a few times for all the grandparents while they were here.
Quite the delicious spread!
DIY place cards. All you need is some festive scrapbooking paper, Christmas stickers and a fine tipped Sharpie.
Sunday, I watched some Christmas movies while Isla was sleeping and got a couple last minute gifts wrapped. I can’t wait to show you this years Christmas tree and decorations. I will post those shortly.
Hope you all had a great weekend.
