My Current Mommy Favourites

Happy April! In Canada, April is always an exciting month. It’s a time when you know that hopefully winter is long gone and that April showers (fingers crossed) will bring May flowers! I thought I would start the month off with some of my current mommy favourites; things that make me happy and make me feel good! Let’s get started shall we?!

~clockwise from left to right~
Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Pink Punch, 0.15 Ounce– Let me start off by saying that this winter has been the absolute worst for dry and chapped lips. I have been having a hard time finding anything that will really do the job and some of the medicated ones I have bought end up burning my lips overnight. These have been a lifesaver and I have about 5 different kinds scattered all over the place because at any given moment I will need one.
Kiss My Face – My mom put this stuff in our stocking’s this year and it has been the greatest surprise ever! It’s a shave oil that works itself into a nice lather. I have always had problems with redness and shaving and this stuff has completely taken that away. It’s a miracle worker. The next time I see it I will be picking up a back up. Apparently they can’t keep the stuff on the shelves!
Boots Number 7 – I am new to this line but I have always heard rave reviews. I am trying there serum right now but I am obsessed with the Instant Radiance Beauty Balm. It has given my skin a well needed boost of radiance after being trapped inside all winter, not to mention if makes my skin super soft and moisturized.
Colour Crush Planner – For those that don’t know, I am a huge planner nerd and I love keeping calendars and to do lists all over my house. I have tried to use my phone as a organizing system but I just can’t get into it so I still like to stick with a good piece of paper and a pen. I have a few different planners I use on a daily basis. My favourite right now is my personal size Colour Crush Planner from Webster’s Pages. It is small enough to keep in my purse and keep me organized on the go. Not to mention the inside is gorgeous and it’s teal duh!
No-Drama Discipline: The Whole-Brain Way to Calm the Chaos and Nurture Your Child’s Developing Mind– It’s not as easy as it once was to sit down and get through a book in one sitting now that I have a toddler running around but I almost got through this book in just a few days. I am always looking at different techniques for discipline and I knew that this type of approach would be one that I would love. The book focuses more on nurturing your little ones brain and really being there for them, even during times when they are really acting out. I would recommend it. It really offers great overall advice.
Logitech Keyboard Folio for iPad 2G/3G/4G – Carbon Black– This is probably one of the greatest things ever invented. I love how it can be used with my iPad and it allows me to do more work while I am out and about. It’s a great keyboard that actually feels like a sturdy keyboard. It makes having an iPad that much better and more convenient.

What are your favourite mommy items as of late? Anything I should add to my list to try for next month?! Comment below.
