Isla Approved: Stearns Puddle Jumper Swin Aid Review

What is summer without swimming?! Isla is a huge fan of the water. She loves pools and beaches, lakes and rivers. She could spend hours in the water even with her body shaking and lips turning blue. She just wants to be in the water splashing around.

A perfect pairing for water fun are the Huggies Little Swimmer Diapers and this Stearns Puddle Jumper Swim Aid that my parents bought for Isla. Best. Invention. Ever! Now don’t get these confused with a life jacket because that it is not.
I have seen these all over the place but I didn’t realize that there were multiple sizes and that they could be adjusted. Isla is almost 30 pounds and is using the 30-50 pound size. They come in a variety of colours and designs, it is a polyester material for added comfort and quick drying time along with antimicrobial protection that resists odor, mould and mildew. It also has an adjustable buckle that snaps up in the back for added comfort. I especially love the confidence it gives Isla in the water. It holds her up perfectly so she is free to allow herself to kick and keep herself balanced. I just hope it doesn’t give her too much confidence that she thinks she can just walk off the side of the pool without them on!
The floaties are great and the front part is comfortable against Isla and it doesn’t ride up to her chin like some floating devices can.
We have also discovered Huggies Little Swimmer Diapers and they are wonderful. They hold the poop in and they don’t swell up and add an extra 20 pounds to Isla’s cute little booty like regular diapers do. I also like the fact that they don’t come in huge packages. It’s more economical that way and you don’t feel like you are wasting product. You buy when you need!
Have you used Puddle Jumpers? Do you love them as much as we do?!
