Weight: 15lbs (probably more as that was taken last month)
Height: 26 inches
Clothes: 6 month and even some 9 month
Diapers: Huggies Little Movers Plus in size 3
Health: We are blessed with a beautiful boy. Healthy and happy!
Sleep: As I type this we have turned a major page with Nash’s sleep! I will write a post dedicated to this because it took a lot of research but he is finally starting to fall asleep on his own, in his crib and staying asleep. Napping has been equally as good. He is finally starting to get it with the proper guidance from me. Some nights are better than others but we are getting there.
Likes: Nash likes to sleep on his tummy (much to my liking), roll over, play with his toys, going for walks in his new carrier, being around his sister and eating his rice cereal with the family around the dinner table.
Dislikes: He doesn’t like sleeping on his back, being gassy or tired. Other then that he is a pretty chill little dude.
Milestones: He has started eating rice cereal, sitting in his highchair at the table with the rest of us and naps and sleeps in his crib. Oh and major news…he has two bottom teeth! They came in a week apart. Can’t believe I have a 5 month old with 2 teeth!
Social: I could literally eat this kid up! He has a smile for miles, loves his family, the outdoors and exploring new things with his sister. He comes and goes with us without a peep and is always up for adventure. He is so wonderful, loves to cuddle and be held. He is just the best!
This month we are loving my trusty Baby 411 book which was a live saver with Isla too. Any information you could possibly want is all right here in one spot and it doesn’t shy away from specific approaches to certain things. It give you lots of info so you can make the decision that is best for you and your family.
The adorable Wubbanub is making another monthly favourites again. Not because he likes the soother part which he doesn’t but he loves holding it. It seems to offer him some comfort and he can usually be found sleeping with it…until I take it out of his crib.
Now that Nash is actually in his crib we have moved up to the sleep sack. I think these are the greatest thing and offer him the perfect amount of warmth for this time of year.
Next up is a Lamaze toy. We have tons of these and each one is truly better than the next. With lots of colours, textures and places to chew, Nash is a big fan. Toot toot the Toucan is currently in his mouth.
You gotta have a cute pair of baby shoes right?! These are perfect for the newly standing baby or to just keep your little one warm and cool looking while running errands.
Lastly, the biggest lifesaver of the month is the Infantino Flip Advanced 4 in 1 Baby Carrier. We have been using a wrap for the first few months which was fantastic but now that Nash is bigger we needed something with a bit more structure. I have been searching for one and was really struggling with the one I truly wanted but could not bring myself to purchase it for nearly $200. After some research I was happy to find the new and redesigned Infantino. It’s comfortable, holds Nash correctly for forward facing and best of all he loves it! I am so happy with it and you can’t beat the price!
