Another holiday is just around the corner and with that comes many fun crafts to create with your little ones. Isla loves painting and pompoms. It’s even better when you can put the two together. Here is a super easy way to get a bit festive and decorate your walls with artwork a la toddler!
Easter Craft for Kids
Here is what you will need:
- An Easter egg cut out. I did mine in Publisher and changed the outline colour to pink and printed a few copies.
- An assortment of paint colours. I had 4 and they were luckily all pastels. Very spring inspired!
- A paper plate or something to put the dollops of paint on.
- 4 clothes pins.
- 4 pompom balls.
Line your work area with newspaper or paper towel and cover your little one up. I cut out a circle in a plastic bag and put it over her shoulders. Worked like a charm! Clip each fuzzy pom ball to the end of the clothes pins, using each one with its own colour and then start stamping on the egg. Easy as that! I did mine with a little more of a cohesive pattern…Isla went to town on hers mixing every colour and decorating her egg with a rainbow of colours!
